FAN CLUB MEETING SATURDAY JUNE 28TH @ 2 PM BOWL EL PASO

DISCUSSIONS FOR UPCOMING SEASON & FAN CLUB NOMINATIONS

Our fan club will gather at Bowl El Paso on Saturday June 28th at 2pm for a discussion on the upcoming season. All Broncos Fans are encouraged to come out and join us. We run a very relaxed fan club with a family environment mindset. It is my intention to form a council for our fan club this year prior to the season begining. I unfortunately lost my little brother just two months ago, and aside from my wife and kids he was my only blood relative in the area. What I'm trying to say is Sundays will be hard for me this year, but with time everything will get easier for me. I do not want to let go or neglect what we all have built over the last 3 years together. So I will be looking for support, especially those who have been with the club the last couple of seasons.

I think it would be a great idea for us to create a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer position for the club. This is something that I thought we should do since last year, and our club has grown to the point where I can't do it all myself so I'm looking for help. We will nominate people for these positions as a club, and the person with the majority vote will be elected to the position. Although I have organized for the club the last several years, that does not mean that the President position is taken. I want what the club wants, and the most important thing is to have a strong club and to have a great time. If you feel you can contribute to our club in any way please let us know. As always you can call me 915 526-3940 if you have any questions or suggestions for our club.

We have no fees or dues, instead we fund our Club through raffles and the dedication of the Fan Club Members Period! Also the only difference between a club member and a fan club guest is the following!

1. The Club Member is a Die Hard Broncos Fan!

2. A Club Member Shows Up on Sundays!

3. A Club Member supports our club in a positive manner

     Great Win on Monday Night against Tennessee! Looks like our team is back! With that said, our club will be at Bowl El Paso for this Sunday's game. We play at 11 am, and we will cookout for this game. We will cookout starting at halftime, around 12:30 pm more or less.      Pending our turnout we will have a raffle, we still have the leather Broncos Jacket to raffle. We need to sell 12 more tickets before we raffle the jacket. IT is a $300 value, and the tickets cost $10. You do not need to be present to win, we will post the winner in our fan club e-mail as well as our webpage.

We have had two great games the last two weeks, and the victories have been sweet. As a fan club we have also enjoyed the cookouts, and hanging out together after the games. If you have not joined us, you are missing out!!!!!!

Our fan club is meeting at Bowl El Paso (Lee Trevino & Pellicano) folks this place is a better venue for us as a fan club. They have an Arcade for the kids, 1/2 price bowling for the fan club, A full snack bar with excellent prices, Two BIG Screens for our games, A TV in the patio for us, and best of all; WE GET TO TAKE OUR OWN GRILL!!!!! We are cooking out this Sunday as we take on Jacksonville Jags. The only thing Bowl El Paso ask from us as a club is that we show up 1/2 hour before the game, and that we buy our soda/beer from the bar. The prices for drinks is very cheap in my opinion.

I challenge you to come out to this Sunday's game on time, this is a Direct TV game and will not be on local television. I also ask you to get involved with our club, if you are not already! This club does not exist without your participation, so come join us on Sunday. There have been a few of you that have helped out and have kept this club and cookouts going. You know who you are, and I appreciate the things you do for the club!

Our fan club will be meeting at BOWL EL PASO this week for the game. As many of you know our fan club Three Legged Monkey does not have the NFL Ticket. Since this game will not be televised, we will be at BOWL EL PASO. Come join us for the tailgate before the game!!!!!! We will decide on what we will be grilling based off of response, and participation. We are allowed to bring our own food to BOWL EL PASO and grill, however all BEER and SODAS must be purchased from the BAR; NO EXCEPTIONS. Please do not upset the management by bringing drinks in a cooler. The prices for drinks are very fair, and I look forward to having a great time with all of you. THERE IS A LOT OF THINGS GOING ON FOR HIM BUSINESS WISE,BUT HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WANTS OUR CLUB AT 3LM. THE ISSUE OF SPECIALS, IS THE WINGS WERE LOOSING MONEY. THE SPECIAL WAS STOPPED FOR THE THURSDAY NIGHT CROWD AS WELL. THAT DOES NOT MEAN WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY FOOD SPECIALS ANYMORE, THERE ARE JUST SOME CHANGES GOING ON WHICH IS THE REASON WE DON'T HAVE THEM NOW. WE ARE WORKING WITH THE KICTCHEN AS WE SPEAK TO GET SOME TYPE OF SPECIAL FOR OUR CLUB. WE SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING SOON, BUT I WANT YOU TO KEEP IN MIND THAT THEY CAN CHANGE ON A WEEKLY BASIS (FOOD). THE THREE LEGGED MONKEY IS READY TO GO FOR THE SEASON. I SPOKE WITH OWNER MIKE ARMSTRONG TODAY, AND HE TOLD ME, THAT THE FAN CLUB IS ALL SET UP FOR THE SEASON. LET'S SHOW OUR SUPPORT BY SHOWING UP FOR THIS PRESEASON GAME. I KNOW THIS GAME IS LATE SO STOP BY IF YOU CAN. LET'S MAKE THIS ADULTS ONLY SINCE THE GAME STARTS AT 10PM (THIS IS ONLY FOR THIS WEEK). 3LM MONKEY IS AN ADULT ATMOSPHERE AT NIGHT, AND I WOULDN'T WANT THE KIDS TO BE UNCOMFORTABLE. THE GAME HAS BEEN CANCELED BECAUSE THE DIRECT TV SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED. THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY NEXT WEEKENDS GAME. I WILL POST AS SOON AS IT IS DONE.

On another note local channel 4 is showing the NEW ENGLAND VS. ATLANTA GAME at 6PM. I will be there at 3LM from 5:30PM - 7:30PM for anyone who wants to stop by and have a drink. 3LM is our HOME and I want to make our presence known, even if our team isn't televised. This will be a happy hour Friday for anyone who wants to come out. If you come, please wear your colors and let's show our BRONCOS PRIDE!

This is not necessarily a meeting, but just a time to gather and get to know each other. This is more of a happy hour for the fan club. If you would like to meet for a drink and meet some of the members, feel free to join us.

We will discuss the upcoming schedule for preseason and OUR fan club road game in ARIZONA, December 17th. If you have any ideas or feedback for the upcoming season, this would be the place and time to voice them. Please e-mail or call me should you have any questions.

OUR Fan Club has been getting a great response for the June 24th Meeting. Our upcoming meeting is also listed in the EL PASO TIMES Borderland scetion under meetings as of today!
